At AgResearch, we believe we are a successful CRI in terms of commercialisation. To back that up you only need to look at our recent record in forming new joint venture companies. Six have been formed in the last 12 months. It is also worth noting that a further three such entities are being formed or in negotiation with potential partners. On top of that we are also taking our technologies and Intellectual Property into the US through our US portal and more recently into Europe and the UK through an IP company in England. Overall however, I think its worth noting that in regard to all our commercialisation activities we take due regard of the likely benefit to the pastoral sector and to the New Zealand farmer. Thus, we are always looking for technologies that we can commercialise which will have a significant impact on farming and the pastoral sector in New Zealand.
